Human‑rights concerns rise after Narges Mohammadi’s arrest

Narges Mohammadi, the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was detained on Friday together with several other Iranian activists, according to statements from her relatives.

The family asserts that, shortly after her arrest, Mohammadi was beaten and suffered injuries that required emergency medical treatment.
